My recent stay at Grand Shores West was a mixed experience. the staff was attentive and helpful, reaching out to me promptly when I left behind medicine. the beach area was delightful, with free cabanas and a grill for guests to enjoy. Luckily, I was moved to a newly remodeled room, which was a significant improvement from the initial sub-standard room. the room was well-equipped with modern amenities, and I had a perfect view of the ocean from both windows. Being steps away from the beach was a fantastic perk. The location of the resort was convenient, with easy access to nearby malls, markets, and great dining options. the proximity to St Petersburg's attractions like the Salvador Dali Museum and Lowry Park Zoo added to the overall experience. Overall, Grand Shores West has its highlights, especially the beachfront amenities and the responsive staff. However, the inconsistencies in room quality and maintenance issues need to be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience.
